The rain is over and so is the Easter rush

Here in Central America Easter is a very big deal. The dream option is to go to a beach and have a party with friends and family. For those of us who live here on Roatan Easter is a very busy week with the hotels all full to capacity and the beaches packed with people. And now, on the Monday after Easter weekend we have returned to normal. The beaches have just a few people on them, the late night music is quiet and many of our visitors have left.

We have 2 seasons here, slightly cooler and wetter in the winter and mostly dry, hot and humid in the summer. Well summer just started and so we are back to more settled weather, lots of sunshine, very little rain and perfect diving days. It's a great time to visit.
